Damage Module

The damage module is optional functionality in hire network that allows hire suppliers to submit, manage, and invoice any notifications of claims and damage claims raised against a hire vehicle on the 1link platform. The damage module can be enabled by speaking to your account manager.

User permissions

There are two user permissions in relation to damage: Reservation – Vehicle Damage and Damage Status.  Reservation – Vehicle Damage gives the user permission to see and action damage claims. Damage Status gives the user access to the damage status report.

View and Submit Damage Claims

On any current or terminated hire a user can create a damage claim or NOI (notification of intent) from the hire reservation page. Click on the Vehicle Damage link in the rental agreements section.

This will take you to the Damage Administration screen where you can view any previously raised damage claims against the hire or create a new claim.
